ProShares Short SmallCap600 T.SBB

Primary Symbol: SBB

The investment seeks daily investment results that correspond to the inverse (-1x) of the daily performance of the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. The fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with the funds investment objective. The index is a measure of small-cap company U.S. stock market performance. It is a float-adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index of 600 U.S. operating companies selected through a process that factors in criteria such as liquidity, price, market capitalization, financial viability and public float. The fund is non-diversified.

RE: RE: Back in

RE: RE: Back in

Folks, now is the time to be buying SBB (and other similar resource stocks) like there is no tomorrow because the risk is high that soon there will be no tomorrow.  Central banks are now big players in the physical gold and silver market.  They are being forced to buy gold and silve.  Why?  Because they need to devalue their currencies in step with the US dollar, the Euro, and other currencies.  This is an ideal way to dilute your currency in step with the rest of the world while also acquiring a monetary asset that will only appreciate in value.   Gold and silver will experience huge gains in the future, and resource stocks will go up as well.  SBB should easily be triple its current value using past valuation metrics, and even higher given where things are going.  I still can't believe the mentality of so many investors - they refuse to acknowledge what is going on in financial markets and keep believing commodities will drop in value.  SBB is priced as though gold is going to drop below $1000 per ounce.  This will only happen if the world's debt market (i.e., the bond market) completely collapses (wiping out savings and pension plans everywhere).  The more plausible scenario is that the world debt market will be flooded away by an unprecedented paper blizzard of worthless currency.
