Revolving Door CMK board has become lately a revolving door for Canadian Senators, Ministers and Provincial Premiers. Guess the desperados hang on to any helping hand that would give them some standing in the scheme of things, since themselves shed every ounce of credibility they could have under the circumstances. The question for us is: what is the meaning of all this bravado with the parade of all these power figures? Bates seems to be fascinated by these personas and the fanfare they generate that got him into trouble in the first place. It's too early to make any assumptions or draw any conclusions, but at first glance one gets the impression that Bates is digging in his heels for the long haul. The appointment of Tobin, who is on the Marret board, may be a sign of things to come, i.e., dilution and takeover of the board by the Marret nominees and CMK going into production with the Marret shareholders at the helm. Or it could mean a joint venture with Marret board members having observer status. In any case I would not venture drawing any conclusions at this point; i need more info from developments.
