Wow! 18 millivolts per volt!

Wow! 18 millivolts per volt!

Just kidding, of course.  Who the hell, ouside a select group operating the instruiments would know the significance of such a reading?  But if you do a little reading on induced polarisation, you will discover that one delivers a known charge via electrodes at specific locations on a grid over an ore body and measure the strength of the secondary voltage which is induced.  The strength of this secondary voltage in relation to the primary gives a measure of the conductivity of the orebody.

Unfortunately copper and iron both are highly conductive and can produce a high IP signatures.  As gold at Las Tres Palmas is closely associated with copper, the skill consists in differentiating betweem iron pyrites which is essentially worthless and copper in sulfides, which may lead us to the Holy Grail.

But hey, we're here to make money, not to learn geophysics.  We have to assume that these guys know what they are doing, and when they say they have found an anomaly which is twice as strong as Romero, I'm all over it!  Yoiu wanna wait a few months to see what they got, or you wanna buy at 55c?  The choice is yours.
