If anything, when Sangdong Mining had the
5pm "meeting" back in August, they may have
gotten the residents too excited or Sangdong
personnel were 'too' confident that the deal
was imminent....
Since then however, as we all know, things
were not imminent, and what we may not know
is the tension it has been creating with the locals
and the local government officials who basically
stuck their necks out for this project.
The first link is for news about the fact that these
same officials may be interested in reviewing
and pulling the Sangdong Mining business lic.
The second link mentions that Woulfe will be in
"full" production, meaning w/ apt production,
employing over 500 people in 2015.
There may be loose lips on one or the other side
of the Pacific who knows for sure.
Perhaps Mr. Tiger Kim is/was too "sure"....
I wish I knew. I'll try to find out.
Anyways, any questions... you can drop me a line.

Cheers.
GLTA LONGS... I hope.
p.s.
Residents are stressed about the delays, but a Sangdong Mining official mentioned that WOF will dispel residents' concerns within a month or two.
Another report, below, specifically mentions that the bank deal will be announced after the Lunar New Year, which just wrapped up in Asia earlier this week....

And here's a link to my wife and I - our climbing "fun" in and around Jang San, Jang Mtn. this month with family and mainly friends... took a few pics of the old living areas and Sangdong Mining area as well... enjoy.
