RE: RE: RE: APPL stock split rumors are coming from the "central planning committee", not AAPL themselves. It would be hilarious if they come out tomorrow and tell shareholders they are not aware of the matter and don't respond to rumors.
BB management knows the deck is stacked against them in the US and has therefore staggered the BB10 launch accordingly. IMHO, this is pretty clever. US traders are betting BB is a complete bust globally (which I think will be incorrect). While I expect all sorts of resistance from the various US carriers and others with a vested interest in keeping the product off of store shelves, US consumers will figure this out eventually and start asking the tough questions. I realize this may sound off color, but at the end of day, top level agencies around the world will have second thoughts about using hardware made in Asia (it doesn't matter what the brand is). BB10 will likely not appeal to the masses, but I'm not sure that is what the gameplan is anyway. Watch what happens if the paparazzi ever catches a glimpse of Obama or some other big wig checking BB Hub on their Z10.
