Eric Nuttall alluded in a recent BNN Market Call segment that he would probably invest in TBE after investor sentiment capitulated and that maximum pessimism was in place. The realization of how terrible the heavy oil business is based on wide price differentials to WTI would be the catalyst for this sentiment. Pretty close to that phase. Seems like not only is the December production snafus baked into the current price but also an anticipated bad Q4 of earnings and a potential telegraph that 2012 2p reserves added to the mix are not as great as thought. Will see on two of those anticipated catalysts. For now TBE trades discounted, distressed and shunned. Probably a time to buy if you are a contrarion and believe the industry is not that bad. BTE is up today. Go figure.
