The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. Comparing PTA and PRE is obviously quite a statement. But PRE is where it is now because of M&A, and that's what PTA will have to do to get to such size, in combination with exploration success. Remember that Giustra and Iacono were the first investors in Pacific Stratus, which became PRE, and it was only 5 or 6 years ago. They made over 2000% on their investment since. Past does not equal the future. I don't care if PTA gets to that size, I just want to make a lot money on my shares! Good luck to all.
