Sure that makes sense, but also, he could not have bought any shares knowing of any material information, which would be illegal insider trading.

.

So basically this trade is a 40k cash gamble on no material information.  For someone to put in 40k into a really speculative stock means one of the following

  • a) hes a millionaire and making a play with the 5% risk portion of his portfolio
  • b) a compulsive gambler
  • c) might be breaking the law and knows something we don't

Does anyone have any other light to shed?
