Everyone has their own top pick, for whatever reason they may have it. I think the bigger point is commodity pricing, if you are a short to medium term player, youd have to seek out those producers that are heavily into distillates, and the choice there is obvious at least to me.. Medium to longer term, heavier oil is the place to be in terms of relative performance on the commodity side. Light oil, I think may be susceptible to some pricing weakness, but thats only a possibility. Biggest gains long term to come from heavy oil, even though you wouldnt think of it today. At least in terms of the canadian e & p landscape.
