Update After listening to the conference call on Fortuna Silver mines yesterday, I sent an e-mail to Robert Boaz re the JV and the land sale and this is what he replied:
"To date we have had a disagreement with Pan Am as to when the $2 million is payable to our JV which would be $1.4 million to Aura. Aura thinks it is now, and Pam Am thinks it is when Fortuna takes on the remaining 45% of the sale agreement. They are trying to reach an amicable solution to this now.Jorge Ganoza - Fortuna CEO - stated in their conference call that he believed they would close the remainder of the sale before year end so that Fortuna could incorporate this new area into their mine plan asap. If that happens, then the money will be paid for sure this year.
They are also currently daeling with a number of larger mining players who may do a JV on East Taviche. Also talking to 2 Canadian companies looking to do a private placement related to Greyhound. Proceding slowly, but still proceding. Stay tuned."
Best no news I have heard lately!
