RE: RE: Mason Granger on BNN tonight

Granger is a solid money manager witness his past picks from 6/2012 on Arc, Tourmaline and Bellatrix. All were up significantly. As for TBE making an acquisition for a gas slanted player to diversify the asset base consider they alraedy have gas properties at Pincher Creek, Jayar, Ansell and Bruce. Optionality was mentioned as a production focus on these lands once gas prices firm and begin to improve. Last years heavy oil acquisitions were made in an accretive fashion at or around $30 k per flowing boe. Can NG properties be purchased with similar metrics. Is dilution an issue? the dividend? Why shift away from heavy oil? Thought they were spending capex to improve infrastructure via the rail loading/handling facility at Lashburn. What about the debt? Is debt being constrained at $200 million (although Joanne Hruska said those levels were a concern). The next move could be as Granger said in the gas side of things then again who knows.
