SLI did spend money in the final weeks to tell shareholder how to vote the white proxy. As some poster had posted they did nto tell them what proxy to vote. There is a big difference. The greens on teh other hand had been counting votes well over a year in advance. They had been accumulating shares and they had been running a smear campaign for many months leading into the proxy. I do agree that the whites had the benefits of being the incumbents, hence thier victory!
