BlackBerry just got mentioned at All Things Digita The liveblog with Apple CEO Tim Cook is taking place right now. Skip to 8:17pm (Pacific). It's interesting to see Apple's take on BlackBerry's advanced keyboard.

Mossberg's suggesting that Apple told Facebook that it wouldn't allow anyone to take over the lock screen. Speaking to Cook, he says: "Your keyboard, predictive typing, etc., hasn't kept pace with what's happening on the Android and BlackBerry side. Those allow others to make improvements on the typing experience. They give you a choice. Some of those folks may know more about typing than folks in Cupertino -- would you give any thought to giving up a little more control?"
Cook: "There's always a fine line to walk there -- or maybe not so fine in some cases. We think the customer pays us to make some of these choices on their behalf."
Cook: "Of course -- on the area of APIs, I think you'll see us open up more in the future. But, not to the degree that we put the customer at risk of having a bad experience."
