As is shown on slide 3 of the presentation below, the price of land in the Red Earth area has declined dranatically. Besides LPR, you have BOR and SGL also trying to sell land.  In addition you have a lot of land fifty miles northwest in the Hutch area which is prospective for Slave Point.

It appears that size matters in Red Earth.  It takes a lot of money and expertise and manpower to drill a lot of wells so that you have a large inventory of wells and can then do a waterflood.

As pinecrest has expertise in the Slave Point and cash flow, it would seem that there are some interesting opportunities in Red Earth for PRY that other companies could not take advantage of.
