RE: Interview with Craig Porter The key for all of this to me would be the LNG facilities, and when they might be completed, as they will act as quasi additional North American demand. The rest of the world needs NAT gaa, and they pay significantly more than do NA consumers.. Im not sure on the next few years, but I believe there are some large LNG facilities in the southern US that might be reasonably close to being ready. In Canada, I am not sure on the time frame that significant capacity for Canadian export might be available. In the meantime there is more than ample NA demand for diluent, from the many pipelines moving crude.
