RE: Premiums for physical up this a.m.

The premiums in north america are still incredibly low. In China they are much higher...and two days ago in Vietnman, 29,000 tales (1.2 ounces) of gold was auctioned off and the buyer paid a $217.00 per tael premium...and did not raise an eyebrow. And I would hope you noticed the story of the new gold shop in eastern China that opened it's doors...and had to face down 10,000 standing in line. As I understand it, the premium moved up six times before the bullion dealer was completely sold out.  The message is clear...own some gold. Or..if you are like me, own 'all the gold'. One of the (few) writers I follow is Larry Edelson and he is all about paper plays and ETF's.  He *finally* came out yesterday to tell his people that it would be prudent to go out and buy a little physical gold.  When it comes to the paper plays, I am all about high-grade deposits that can go into production now...or almost now. IMO...with gold prices under $1800...many of the one or two grams per ton plays are on the shelf.  I do like CSI...in spite of GMP and Dundee's blundering into the market and financing the company at too high a price and if anyone recalls, I did mention that (imo) this one was a buy at around the $1.40 mark. No excuse now to not own some.
