osgoode14, the CEO has stated that "he's been told" that Albany's deposit is the only graphite deposit on Earth that can be beneficiated to 99.99% sythetic grade graphite using 'caustic bake' or 'sodium hydroxide'.

Is this true, or do other companies use Sodium Hydroxide or Caustic Bake to purify their graphite?
