Barkerville to apply for reinstatement on TSX-V

TRADING HALT

Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. has requested that IIROC (the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada) impose a halt in trading on the company's securities until further notice.

Barkerville is in the process of making an application to the TSX Venture Exchange to reinstate its common shares for trading on the exchange, and these securities will remain halted until this process reaches a successful conclusion.
