I'm wondering if this Halt Trading will only effect Canadians and not Americans wishing to trade their BGMZF shares on the OTCBB?

The CTO did not effect the trading on the OTCBB after the CTO was in place, so would it now?

Not the greatest news, if news at all.  We'll see if there's any further trading on the OTCBB in the next while.
