RE:keep it real fellas
Not really sure where this $200 million contract came from, but long term depending on how things move forward with Hamamatsu Photonics, that could be the norm.
As for the short term, you have to think why ZMS is trading at this price. Is it due to the lawsuit, or is it due to the Hamamatsu potential, or the possibility that ZMS will be chosen by CERN?
I would discount the trial outcome as it is a long ways off, even if they get a positive Markman ruling, albeit it will help.
IMO, the deal and the potential sales that their partnership with Hamamatsu brings is what's holding the share price at these levels, and with any further sales announcements in the future, it may move higher from here on fundamentals alone with or without the Markman ruling.
Also, CERN is not a done deal yet. That would be my main concern, not the patent trial. A positive CERN decision would be ground breaking for a small company like Zecotek.
ZMS is the prime candidate, but they haven't been picked as of yet. IMO, if they do, it won't matter what the Markman ruling is.
