Tomorrow is last day to buy votable shares for AGM

Tomorrow is last day to buy votable shares for AGMRecord date for November AGM is Monday Sept 09.  That means any purchase on the TSX after 4pm on Wednesday Sept 04 (which is tomorrow) will not be eligible to vote at the AGM.

I do not know if the shares issued under the current best-efforts offering are subject to the same 3-day settlement period.  If yes, then I would expect Bioniche to declare the offer closed as of close-of-business on Wednesday.  I would guess the press release would come around 5pm tomorrow.

The press release announcing the preliminary prosectus said the offering is subject to approval by the OSC and TSX.  I wonder what would happen if the TSX refused to approve it in time for the record date for the AGM.  If that happened, then the shares in the offering could not be voted at the AGM.

I would have researched this last point, but I doubt the TSX gets many share placements just prior to AGM voting deadlines.  So I didn't bother to look.  I will just wait and learn.
