Phones will stillif they were to go this route (which is what I am expecting), it is simply a replay of what they did with the playbook. maybe for $99 you'll have a limited # of people step up to replace their handsets (not knowing for sure what the future is for BB10 devices). imho, not a chance at $200, 300 etc. i figure if a user was already signed up on a decent data plan, they've already got a newish handset and don't need/want to make this move.  some users on basic voice plans might buy this, but the vast majority would deem it to be a waste of money to upgrade to a device that they can't really use as it was designed. if the big three were to sell this at zero on a really well priced data plan, you might be able to move the needle in the short term, but that is a big if. given that they just came out with the new more expensive 2yr plans just a couple of months ago, I'd say the chances of this happening are close to zero.
