what i really want to know is if any of my tax dollars are going into this. if so, the harpers and james moores of the world will look like even bigger chumps than they already do.
i still suspect this letter of intent could just be a bluff to try to stir up interest. prem basically has little to lose at this point by going this route (other than hit he'll take to his re*****tion if he either walks or bites the bullet, ponies up the $9/sh and goes down with the ship).
obviously the market is not 100% convinced that these assets are as highly sought after as some seem to think and that this will wind up turning into a ferocious bidding war. imho, if BB is aware of any other key players at least kicking the tires they wouldn't have entered into this agreement.
