unless i am reading things incorrectly, fairfax is not ponying up any new money of their own. deal is also subject to financing, not just due diligence. if buyers turn out to be pension plans and the like, this gets dragged on for a lot longer or maybe doesn't happen at all. a deal with lenovo won't be allowed
