RE:October report out on CNSX for QSL
RE:October report out on CNSX for QSLCaptiveking, lots of food for thought and discussion. The following portions are what most caught my attention:
The first initiative has been finalization of internal testing in the Shanghai factory of QSS 250W for the TUV SUD and TUV SUD UL certification process and submission to the TUV SUD testing laboratory in the United States. It is now anticipated that the test sample modules of QSS 250W will be shipped to the United States in approximately the third week of November 2013.
Significant progress has been made during the previous month in specific sales initiatives including identifying a specific pilot site in the middle-east. These discussions will move forward as preliminary in-house efficiency testing is being completed in the Shanghai factory for a QLX desert ready solar module being developed for high temperature locations. After the middle-east pilot is in place, it is QSolar’s intention to deploy pilot sites in India and Pakistan.
The Company has determined it will delay it’s own commercial rooftop sales initiative in Shanghai to install rooftop solar for QSolar as the Chinese policy of qualification for new Chinese incentives for the installation of commercial solar projects is not clear and payments process not finalized by the Chinese authorities.
As noted above, the Company has developed a high heat temperature QLX desert ready solar module from its QLX product line. It anticipates internal testing will be completed during November and ready for deployment to a pilot in the middle-east.
During October and November QSolar continued it R&D development and testing on the following consumer products:
(a) Solar powered scooter;
(b) Solar powered golf cart;
(c) Portable solar power pack in various sizes;
(d) Residential “Plug and Play” grid tie unit for retail sales.
Pilot testing in several locations is anticipated during November and December.
The Corporation continues its R&D work in Shanghai during November on its trade secret Kruciwatt (wafer) technology.
