Clemper, you need to look at the Entice Presentation on MEI's website to get a handle on the land position and the activity on the lands all around the leased hectares. While Encana has been focused elsewhere for a decade plus, neighbouring landholders have been been punching 4 holes per section on nice, dependable multi-stacked plays with production of 100-300 boep/d, at costs of $1-3m per well. It also looks like MEI may have been given first dibs on Encana lands, as ECA has subsequently said it will be spinning out more of theses legacy railroad lands. It's not sexy, but it looks like a cashflow cow to hedge the riskier Foothills drills.
