Potential progressThere have been a lot of rumblings about the company looking at new North American assets and the possibility that those new assets may come in the form of a "Company" not just a property. We'll see what happens but George Young (recently announced new Director) and Dr. Nelson (new Director announced today) do have a history together.
When George Young was President at Palladon, Dr. Nelson was involved with the Mountain Lion Iron project as Q.P., see below. This release is from 2005 and likely has nothing to do with what is going on with RI right now, but these gentlemen have a history together.
Salut,
Leigh McBain
"Palladon president, George S. Young, said "the Mountain Lion Iron Project represents perhaps a once-in-a-generation opportunity, where technological advancement, unprecedented market conditions, and the pending acquisition of the largest and highest grade iron mine in the Western United States all coincide to create overwhelming value for our shareholders. We believe the project's value is such as is rarely encountered in a junior exploration company. In the months to come, we expect that the investing public will recognize the value already in the ground and the potential to substantially compound that value through the completion of a feasibility study for the ultimate processing of ore into steel, as well as the near-term mining and sale of substantial quantities of iron ore."
