Going Forward I own many MEI shares. My largest holding. Began buying two years ago when it bottomed around $1.18 and have added at various point right up into the $3.20 range. At $2.19, I'm back in the red, but not terribly so. At $1.18, it was unloved. At $3.49, the sky was the limit. A rollercoaster, for sure. So, I ask my crystal ball, "What to do?" Take my tax-loss? Stick it out? Reduce? Add? Emotional me, is all over the place. Rational me, re-crunches some numbers, re-reads statements, updates and presentations, and analysis, and bullboards. For now, I take away what I have for the past 24 months - that MEI currently and on a go-forward basis, offers an acceptable risk/reward opportunity, easily one of the better ones in the WCSB. And you know I follow/have followed/or own to different extents, RMP, DTX, BXE, RE, TVE, SOG, RPL, LEG, CPG, AAV, PPY, LNV, PXL, RRX, EPS, ECA, EGL. UN, BNE, TBE, OIL.....and the departed STO, NVS, TOL, et al. This is what I do. Long, until I'm not.
