Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

RE:RE:Round and roundI disagree on this, its fairly well known they spaced them out farther than the normal operational protocols. Obviously somebodies math was wrong but oil is coming out. I think its got more potential now than 4 months ago as there is no wondering. They have come clean.
I believe lots of people will make money as the price is so low.
I doubt it will ever see $3.00 again, but maybe $1.00 pending production numbers.
This being said if they dont find a buyer or cash injection I have a hard time believing they wil get mckay to 7500 barrels a day. Time will tell, I suspect I will be fully out by June if not sooner. My uncle met with Dave Antony in Calgary when this was starting as a land play, I been involved with it since. They have had so much bad luck they are due for a streak of good luck
