RE:RE:Sulphide and a few others R wearing the tinfoil here...Agreed, rallard. For every seller there is a buyer, but the rules of game are rapidly changing because most of the buyers now are in the East. And as we all know: "He who owns the gold makes the rules."
True Believers are free to put their money into the USD, backed by blind faith. Or better yet, into Bitcoins, backed by absolutely nothing except hype. (BTW, what's going to happen to Bitcoin when a large bank or government - say, China - decides to issue an equally convertible digital currency, but backed by gold?)
As for PVG, who are you going to trust: the BS put out by Strathcona or the BS (bulk sample) put out by Pretium? The former - like the USD - is worth less than the paper it is printed on. The latter is worth it's weight in gold, all 8.7 million ounces (and counting) of it.
I was among those few PVG bulls who completely expected that the market would totally ignore the BS results after the intitial rally, and the sp would drop significantly in the short term. But if it ever re-approaches my current cost basis of $4.03, I will undoubtedly not be panicking but rather consider it a belated Xmas present and be buying more.
