Don't look at it as a split vote but as voting the best six individuals in who would all bring something different to the board.  I trust that they are all professionals and wouldn't let personal feelings get in the way.  After all they  have their reputations on the line and together would recruit a credible CEO.  This is the best way for Renegade to succeed imho.
