deisman, I do not think it is a realistic with that merge even if I understand your idea with the best individuals.
Here is 2 possible solutions and I prefer to let this board finish the job instead of using all the energy on fightning each other.
2 months or more are wasted now - if you make this mix there will go several months with nothing.
I agree with the open letters message and let them finish the work.
