RE:RE:RE:Share Price

RE:RE:RE:Share Price
yeah, i've been noticing a pattern too. for the last several quarters s/p has corrected going into earnings (next report jan 30). following these dips, a short term bounce occurs right up until ex div date (or a day or two prior). in prior reporting periods, this stock often sold off following earnings, then bounced in a similar fashion. best time to buy stock has been approx 6-8 weeks after stock goes ex-div. anyway, fwiw...

not sure about the 12 mos trend you are referring to. i see it a bit differently. for the most part, s/p has been stuck in a $2 mildly ascending channel with a series of moderately higher lows made in apr, jun, dec etc. this being said, the highs made in aug, nov and jan have been trending downwards, so this formation could just as easily be interpreted as a pennant.

if I not mistaken, the shorts like to jerk this stock around. strange action last friday considering the type of day it was. then this am i believe raymond james downgraded stock and brought down the hammer in a big way. s/p now below both the 200d and 50d MA's albeit not by a whole lot. who knows what their motive is/was and what side of the fence they are playing on?  imho, s/p looked to be basing out in this range after getting torched in the first hour or so.  i started dippig in a toe today <$20.00. I will continue to watch the 19.50-60 range closely in the coming days to add to position with the intention of holding until week 2/3 of Feb.

first time commenting on the stock, so take all this with a grain of salt

cheers all
