AN EXTERNAL INFLUENCE IS OFTEN THE SOLUTIONTo explain my caption "AN EXTERNAL INFLUENCE IS OFTEN THE SOLUTION" Outsiders are necessary components to ensure Canadian companies are kept in line. For example, CNR needed a good shakeup, and H.H. did just that. The likes of Mr. Green and his ilk kept CP rail from reaching any level of efficiency, so H. H. has returned to do the job. We have a lot of very talented individuals in Canada, but they are all too familiar with one-another, and so are reluctant to make the changes necessary. There are many other companies that have become more efficient due to the same process...one comes to mind.....a few years back Westcoast bought Union Gas, Westcoast was subsequently bought by Duke Energy which split into two separate entities Duke and Spectra Energy.....Canada has numerous institutions that are in need of a severe shakeup e.g. the Beer Store and the L.C.B.O. (In Ontario) So, Mr. uchuck, change is necessary and inevitable, so I do hope that you are able to comprehend this, and please observe that I did not use any derogatory language, or "name-calling" as I would never stoop to your level. Best................SHUMBA
