Newbie

NewbieI am new to this company, and I understand and empathise with the disgruntled long-time holders who have suffered large losses as a result of mismanagement (been there, done that, got the tax losses to prove it); the Shafter debacle certainly seems to have lived up to its name.  However, since the Shafter care and maintenance statement in Dec 2013, more than 10% of the float has changed hands, and the price looks set to rise back to 'pre-shafted' levels.  La Negra alone looks like an enviably high-quality asset, quite profitable at at current $20 Silver price.  At a market capitalisation of $63m, this looks to be undervalued as a stand-alone operation with improving fundamentals.  I am aware of the $50m debt situation, and the tied-in streaming agreement, and the uncertainty surrounding this and how it will play out, but there still appears to be some value in this company; recent price action and volume would appear to reinforce this view.

As there is currently  no information available on the company website, I would appreciate it if any long-term holders could shed any light on the fundamentals and outlook for this company, as this would clearly be in their best interests as opposed to bemoaning travesties past which are reflected in the price and valuation of AUN.

Thanks in advance,

E17
