BNNVeronika Hersch on BNN - TID #1 Top Pick

Veronika Hersch Chief Investment Officer for BluMont Capital was on Market Call on Wednesday March 2 on BNN, and made Tuscany International Drilling her #1 Top Pick. She stated the following in her analysis:

It's run by a very experienced management team who have done this type of a company before and they got taken over.

Tuscany is basically taking brand new equipment into Latin America where really a lot of the drilling equipment is antiquated and so they don't really have competition down there right now. A lot of American drilling companies employ their great assets in the US and then take their old assets into Latin America. These guys [Tuscany] that's all they have. They're only in Latin America and they take brand new assets, a lot of cases are actually specifically manufactured for a specific project, so they're really efficient rigs for a particular job. Because they actually specifically manufacture a rig for each project they actually get longer term contracts so really they don't have that much risk.

We think that as before they will probably grow this company and again perhaps get taken over 3 to 5 years down the road again. But in the meanwhile you've got lots and lots of opportunity to grow ahead because they've just started to penetrate their markets.
