International Markets
Here's a thought. Lets say you're in an accumulate mode on a stock. What if you use, say, 100,000 shares to drive the price down in North America just before close so that when it opens in, say, London the next day, the trading price is supressed and you pick up 500,000 shares at a cheaper price than you would have had markets in N.A. closed at normal (average daily) prices?
Today's pricing in North America will tell the tale. I'll guess we're at 2.90 again in no time.
