This is surprising to see WEF mentioned.  This mostly will affect the operators in the interior of BC - CFP and WFT.  The pine beetle logs are a dusty nightmare.  The costal logs not nearly so much -- some of them still come out of the ocean on jackladders even.

I think it'll be generally immaterial.  There may be a small squeeze on supply which is good for prices but WEF is not affected my changes in commodity prices.  What it is affected by is Mgmt's propensity to equity finance.  Yikes.  They need to just issue some debt and quit with the bloody secondaries.*

*I'm bitter because I piled in at 2.60 but I could care less, it'll be back within a year or so.  Just the waiting game...  which ain't all bad because of the dividends!
