1st Quarter Earnings

1st Quarter Earnings1st Quarter 2013 was 3 cents per share, C-com's best 1st quarter ever.  We need earnings of 5 cents to bring the P/E back down and our last 4 quarter earnings back up to 12 cents.  Sales in Ukrane and Russia are still strong regardless of political kaos and expansion in the Middle East as more Ka band satellites are lauched more Ka band antennas are needed.  The Ka antennas are where we are going to see the real numbers.  I cant remeber the company name but there is one in the Middle East that is preselling Ka band bandwidth at a discounted price before the satellites are even in the sky to get their subcribers locked in.  This is good.  As more Ka band satellites are lauched existing customers will upgrade their antenna's as well as new customers wanting the best and fastest.  Repeat customers upgrading to Ka band will compound sales.
I have no doubt that as these new satellites are lauched C-coms sales will launch as well.  But as to when these sales will be reflected in earings ?? That is the question.
I feel most of us are expecting the 2 cent earnings miss (by my expectations) from last quarter to be reflected in the first quarter.  Perhaps sales in the later half of 2013 did not make it into 4th qurarter earnings.
I strongly beleive that 1st quarter earnings are going to be 4 to 6 cents per share.
And raise dividend of course.  Now we just have to wait and see.
