RE:RE:RE:RE:Buzy morningYou are correct Ed.. "Crown mineral lands" are those lands that are identified in green. Those are the lands to which WPX has the mineral rights. 20 years lease with first right or refusal for the 20 years following.

Freehold properties are interspersed on both KP405 and KLSA008.Mineral rights for those "freehold" properties are excluded from mining at this point or until the freehold rights can be secred from the owners.

Mine plans can and will exclude those freehold lands...they have to - you cant mine somebody elses turf. It should also be noted that with solution mining it is not that difficult to mine around those freehold lands. The key here is you need water...... and RIO doesnt have it and they likley will be unable to get it from anywhere else...but through Western.
