The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. RE:RE:RE:RE:Full Transcript Of PTA Conference CallThe presentation gives a post acquisition basic share count of 830 mil shares including all the diluted Suroco shares. Forget the 35 cents, 75 cent and 1.25 warrants. Add the 20 cent warrants and the options (average strike is around 30 cents) and the diluted share count is at about 900 mil, although there would be significant cash added for those to get exercised. It's 100% clear that they are going to put a rollback on the annual meeting ballot. It's right there in the Suroco Call discussion. They should do a 1 for 20 reverse split to bring the diluted share count down to 45 mil and also move off the Venture exchange to attract institutional investors. They seemed to like the Venture (easier filing deadlines), but these guys need to rethink that issue.
