Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

The potential of a JV could prove interesting. If they are delaying both the ICD installations AND Senlac's facelift, talk of a JV must be serious and in the final stages. If a partner does work itself into the fold, I sincerely do not know what this will mean for shareholders until details are revealed.

Callers need to pin down Lutes during the CC.
If you manage to get through, don't be afraid to ask multiple questions.

Since the "last week of March", production has risen in 2P1. That is to say that over the course of the last 6 weeks, production has risen from 400 barrels to ????
I expect this question to be answered tomorrow.

If there is a silver lining in all of this, the operating loss was right inline with projections at 3.3 cents per share. At least one of Shatner's darts hit the bullseye.
