RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:The Rexel innovation center to showcaseEunice - a few things: - my IQ is pretty decent, not really worried about your assessment of it either. You could have acquired your answer about where SmartCool was referenced and shared it with the group with a comparable amount of effort to what you put into being obnoxious toward RocketRed. You were quite right, I did (to some degree) repeat another answer, as I replied before catching up 100% on the rest of the thread, sorry to put you through such agony and suffering. - with respect to saving people from having to read the whole presentation that was not necessary to begin with as the presentation had the equivalent of a Table-of-Contents right up front. Additionally, it would benefit pretty much anyone interested in SmartCool to scan through the presentation and not just jump to the page SSC is mentioned on. Having said that it is EXTREMELY straightforward to open the presentation and simply do a "find" on SmartCool. - I spoke with the company today and the Rexel relationship is VERY young and this inclusion in their Smart House was a very good starting point to it. They are are hoping to be able to announce and market the fact it has happened (approval from Rexel required) shortly. - you are quite right that Rexel being big does not guarantee that they will sell a bunch of product just because they carry it, but they can't sell it if they don't carry it and taking a shot with an organization like Rexel does make sense. - as for the Rolodex concept, you're quite right most $4m cap juniors do not have a huge Rolodex to make use of and I am NOT suggesting that the company has a Rolodex like Warren Buffett, but I happen to know something about the new guys involved and they do have good solid connections and with some players with decent pockets - private and institutional and I'm not guessing at this. - as for the Cloud" concept being new and being unrelated to the prior history, I didn't miss it at all, as a matter of fact I wrote a post with respect to it just a few days ago and pointed out that while the concept of deploying using an SaaS model has some merit, I don't believe the market is ready for it to be the standalone direction for the company. Eunice, it is quite obvious you've been burned by the company historically and I have no way to guarantee you won't be again, but the guys I know who are now involved should be able to assist safeguarding against that, if they are allowed to and the company does appear to have a product of merit to share with the marketplace. Salut, Leigh McBain
