RE:RE:Cedeq here's your 1$ ;)The Easthom addition is huge. Having a product to sell is part one of the equation. Part two is getting it into retail to sell your product. He has the connections to make those PO's happen.
Also, I dont think most people here recognize the significance of the non GMO trend that is in its early stages with consumers right now. The last big trend was organic. Then it was gluten free. Then local products and produce. Easthom was a huge part of shifting the focus of Overwaitea from "customer service" to organic, gluten free, local and now non GMO. Overwaitea recorded RECORD sales last year because of this. There is a Save On Foods in North Vancouver B.C that has a section at the from of the store that only has gluten free and non GMO products.
Educating the public takes time. But all you need to do is look at the past "trends" to see where non GMO is going. And in my honest opinion non GMO should be the standard not just a trend.
AFI is planning on growing a crop that is on trend, a growing category, consumption is on the rise and not to mention is actually good for you and the environment. Oh and share holders ;)
