RE:RE:RE:mad cow disease Other than an odd sort of satisfaction with regards to PLI's ability to identify the rogue prion, I don't think this means much to PLI.  There is no direct linkage in the US between Mad Cow and a compromised blood distribution network, or to a catalogue of unfortunate victims directly linked to acquiring the disease directly from consuming contaminated beef.  PLI's experience with the British Health Services, where connecting the dots is much more evident, bore no significant results.

We've seen that movie already and the end was not as we would have hoped.  Time to move on to more productive ventures.  If someone shows interest, let them pay a handsome premium to make up for all the paste wasted time.
