Any guesstimates for the replacement cost for a 3,000 TPD SAS (Holt) mill? Most of the gold stocks got a lift over the past few trading days due manly to the present and potential Iraqui situation. BNN guests continue to say that there is no inflation, thus the POG is not going up because of inflation; so it is a "fear" trade. Talking about the Primero/SAS potential, the SAS (Holt-McDermid) mill like the Stock (now Black Fox mill) are key considerations in any T1 or T2 expansionary visions in the Timmins camp. SAS seems to be dressing up the Hislop North property with the view of attracting Primero or some other deep pocketed company. Now, sometimes a company seeing the logical take over being done by Primero could take a position in SAS assuming that Primero will end up making a hostile bid for SAS. Bottom line is, the Grey Fox property, the Hislop North property will benefit from an existing SAS mill. This is the scenario; but is it worth the risk in this log POG environment? Maybe, maybe not. DYODD Cheers Stanley
