RE:Northern Gateway Pipeline gets Approved

RE:Northern Gateway Pipeline gets Approvedyes, good catch onxy...

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/northern-gateway-pipeline-approved-with-209-conditions-1.2678285

I for one work in the reclamation part of projects like pipeline installations. Ive seen some really nice remediation after the pipe goes in. Wether it be directional drill or open-cut. Its the breaks that cause damage, especially if the drop in pressure isnt seen right away. I havent read the terms of reference for the Northern Gateway, but i bet it comes with up-scaled detection sensors and shut-off valves. Im for the pipeline, but only if mitigation exceeds expectations and actual outcomes when it comes to the environment. its always a gamble with all oil/gas activity. Here's to the economy, and the environment. They always belong in the same sentence now don't they....

this pipeline will border LRE land no? I'll find out. Cheers all.
