Of course they prefer synthetic, because it meets their requirements, and the NATURAL FLAKE GRAPHITE DOES NOT. ZEN is hoping to show it is capable of replacing synthetic graphite as a cleaner, perhaps cheaper source. You don't think a green company such as Tesla would love to be able to use natural graphite instead of the very dirty-to-produce synthetic?
