RE:Marlbank/Retiredcf
Ah, I do miss TOL and NVS, both sold so low. TOL, particularly so. RMP claims 400 Montney locations with optimal spacing. If it's even close to that, I'm happy. ATH also claims 400 Montney locations, overlaying another 1100 Duvernay. ATH's West Kaybob lands look to stretch up toward RMP's land. I'd guess several companies would like to purchase ATH's lands, and given ATH's luck, a sale of some sort seems inevitable. But even with all the talk of RMP's looming FCF bonanza, ATH's Montney lands would be a big chunk to bite off. Maybe they could snatch a few sections in the free-for-all. Still, I think RMP is playing chicken with ARX (Heard this one before?). IF RMP could conceivably be throwing off near $400m in FCF in 2016 at 20000boe/d, why the feck doesn't ARX pay $1.2-$1.6B for this one now, maybe even in stock, instead of looking over the fence in envy. Buy now, or pay more later....
