Dear Goldgoose and Crisis,

I will always try to be the first to raise my hand when I mess up and in this case I am disappointed to realise that I am guilty of not practising what I preach.

Having read my post that Gold reposted back (and thank you goldg for doing so) I realise that i am guilty of the adage " When You Point Your Finger at Someone Else, There's 3 Fingers Pointing Back at You ".

The post had contained a poor choice of words as a result of 'Shooting of the Hip' caused by a raw nerve being struck.

For this please accept my unreserved apology and for having also consequently  caused a cascading effect of raw nerves of others being struck.

As with regards to US being worse than Russia, you'll be shocked when you hear me say that arguably, one could say that.

In fact when Kettl had his outburst on the Iraq war the other day (it seems to be that many of us are having outbursts recently...............these Kyrg guys must be getting to us more than we think) I had actually written quite a long piece to join in on this tirade.

I then thought better of it and decided that this was not the place for this discussion and did not post it (it was one of those day where I had better self-control).

So once again, my apologies.
